Court phone service outage kept Lawson from putting message on answering machine

Clerk of Court Melanie Lawson said Friday that the court phone service was down and she was unable to place the message on the answering machine for jurors who have been summoned to appear in General Sessions Court this week. She said that those who were summoned to serve in General Sessions Court for this week should call today after 6 p.m. for instructions. Those jurors summoned to appear for Grand Jury selection in General Sessions Court should report today at 10 a.m.
