Dr. Wanda All Retiring From School Board After 28 Years

Kelly Wilburn-Shropshire will take All's place on the board following November election

Last Monday night marked the final school board meeting after 28 years for Dr. Wanda All. She has represented District 8 on the school board since 1994. School board chair Doc Lipsey presented her with a plaque and vice-chair Dr. Jane Wilkes presented her with a gift certificate on behalf of the board members honoring her service. In her remarks, Dr. All stated:

Taking Dr. All’s place on the board will be Kelly Wilburn Shropshire, who ran unopposed for the seat. After the vote is certified, Shropshire will be sworn in at the November meeting. Shropshire appeared on WBCU Friday morning to introduce herself and talk about her upcoming time on the school board. Shropshire said:
