Program is entering its 32nd year of helping families at Christmas
Grace United Methodist Church is opening its annual Secret Santa program for applications. Those anticipating needing help with presents for their children are asked to sign up online by scanning a QR code with your smart phone and completing the application questions online. They will also hold two drive-thru application dates at the church. They will have one on Saturday, October 15, from 10 a.m. to noon, and another on Saturday, October 22, from 12-2 p.m. Applications are due to be turned in at the church or online no later than October 22.
The annual gift drive is entering its 32nd year, spearheaded by The Upper Room and Young Adult Sunday School classes at Grace United Methodist Church. Last year, generous individuals helped to sponsor 207 children ages 10 and under. Each year, sponsors are given a list of three gifts for a child and are asked to purchase at least one of the gifts from the list, but they may purchase all three if they choose. In addition, the group asks that sponsors include an item in each package that relays the message of God’s love.
