Love will remain available to help Russell through the transition period
Interim Supervisor Bob Love announced at last night’s Union County Council meeting that newly elected Supervisor Phillip Russell will begin work on December 1st. Love told WBCU News that he resigned following the election to help clear the path for Russell to begin work early. He said he will remain on the job through the end of the month and will remain available to help Russell beyond that time as needed. WBCU News spoke with Supervisor-elect Russell at the groundbreaking ceremony about the transition:
