Union Presbyterian partners with Prison Fellowship
Another church is seeking to help children with parents in prison. Union Presbyterian Church is once again participating in Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree ministry. They seek sponsors for fifty children who have a parent in prison. Through Prison Fellowship’s contacts in the prisons, inmates have an opportunity to arrange for Christmas presents to be given to their children. Each present is given in the name of the parent, with a personal greeting from the parent. This year, sponsors will not shop for the children. Instead, they will send $25 to Prison Fellowship, and they will send a gift card and Christian booklets to the children. The church will give you the name and age of the child you sponsor so you can pray for them and their family.
