Melvin Falls Named Foster Park Support Staff of the Month

Falls has served on custodial staff at Foster Park for two years

Foster Park Elementary School named Melvin Falls as the September Support Staff of the Month. Falls, or “Mr. Melvin” as the Foster Park family affectionately calls him, has been serving on the custodial staff at the school for two years.

When asked to describe Falls, his peers had this to say:

"He goes above & beyond for the FPES family. He makes sure we are all taken care of, even if it's difficult or out-of-the-way for him."

"I appreciate him so much for his hard work and friendly attitude. He deserves so much recognition!"

"Mr. Melvin has been so good to in helping us get classrooms up and running. Simply put - he is a BLESSING. We are grateful for him!"

Falls says his favorite part of working at Foster Park is loving and caring for the students, teachers, and staff.
He is a graduate of Union High School. He has been promoted to Trustee of Corinth Baptist Church. He enjoys not only serving as trustee, but also in the security ministry of his church.

Falls really enjoys watching football. The Dallas Cowboys is his favorite team. He also loves to travel with the “Happy Travelers” of Union, SC.

Falls is the son of Joyce Falls. He has one brother named Elijah Falls and three sisters: Debra Falls, Brenda Porter, and Sharon Jeter.
