Pacolet Man Faces Shoplifting, Weapons Charges

Man accused of stealing multiple clothing items at Rose's

A Pacolet man has been arrested on shoplifting and weapons charges for incidents that occurred over the summer. On July 30, 22-year-old Zachary Trent Zimmerman is accused of stealing multiple clothing items from Rose’s while with a woman and three small children. On August 7, he and a woman identified as Emily Crocker are accused of stealing 14 school supply items from Walmart while with three small children. The items were valued at $68. Zimmerman is also accused of pointing and presenting a firearm at a person and discharging a firearm into a dwelling, in an incident that dates back to June 28. In addition to those charges, he faces a charge of possession with intent to distribute a schedule 1 or schedule 2 drug, unlawful carrying of a handgun, and driving under suspension. He is also wanted on a charge by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office. Bond on the charges totals $13,800. Zimmerman is still being held at the Union County Detention Center. Emily Anna Belle Crocker, the woman named in the case, has been arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule 1 or schedule 2 drug, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful carrying of a handgun. Bond in her charges has been set at $3500. She is still at the Union County Detention Center, as well.
