Planning Commission, County Council, and Lockhart Town Council all will meet
There are three meetings scheduled today. The Union County Planning Commission has its regular monthly meeting today at 5:30 p.m. in the 2nd-floor conference room at Main Street Junction. Kathy Jo Lancaster, Union County Director of Community Development and Special Projects, told WBCU News that the commission will take no action on the Land Standards document that Union County Council tabled in December.
Union County Council has a special called meeting scheduled today at 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Jury Room at the Union County Courthouse. The only item on the agenda is the second reading of an ordinance authorizing the sale and conveyance of county-owned property at 615 West Main Street to the Union-Laurens Commission on Higher Education.
The Lockhart Town Council will hold their regular monthly meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at the Lockhart Town Hall.
