K-9s in Flight will no longer be at the fair
The Union County Agricultural Fair reaches its midpoint today with School Spirit Day at the fair. Some of the county’s kindergarten students will get to come to the fair during the morning. They will be treated to a special performance by Rosaire’s Racing Pigs at noon. Union County Schools and Union Christian Day School students, home school association students, and USC Union students received a ticket for free admission to the fair today from 4-8 p.m. Attached to the ticket is a coupon for $4 off the ride band, which normally would cost $25. The daily cattle show will begin at 6 p.m. this evening.
The entertainment lineup for tonight features the Union Express Band on stage from 5:15-7 p.m. The Travis Smith Band will play from 7-8:30 p.m., and Joker’s Habit will close out the evening from 8:30-10. Rosaire’s Racing Pigs will hold shows at 5:30, 7:30, and 9:30. Lew-E the Clown will have shows at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., and the chainsaw carver will be on hand making a sculpture starting at 4. The fair announced that due to unfortunate circumstances, K9s in Flight will no longer be performing at this year’s fair.
